Fluorinated wax remover
Fluor cleaning is used to remove residues from older fluorinated ski waxes on skis, brushes, waxing irons and in the work area. Thorough cleaning reduces the risk of pure fluor-free products becoming contaminated.
Work in the right order
Start with the work area and coarse cleaning, continue with skis and tools, and finish with clean finishing brushes. Follow the current instructions for each material and product.
Separate and label tools
- Clean or replace brushes that have been used with older fluorinated products.
- Wipe down waxing irons, scrapers, profiles and benches.
- Use clean cloths and collect dust and waste.
- Label tools that are approved for fluor-free waxing.
Avoid mixing the systems
When cleaning is complete, older fluorinated products should be stored separately or handled according to current recommendations. Always work in a well-ventilated area.
