Product description
Vauhti Race Violet powder 35 g is a fluorocarbon-free glide wax for varying snow conditions, especially dirty man-made snow. The powder is ironed in with a waxing iron and is used for racing and demanding training.
Violet has a wide range of use, but Vauhti highlights dirty man-made snow in particular. This makes the snow type an important part of the choice even within the same temperature range.
The Race powders combine high-grade hydrocarbons, zinc stearate and silicone wax for glide and durability.
Suitable for
- Especially for dirty man-made snow.
- As a glide layer over a prepared base waxing.
- Cross-country skis, alpine skis and snowboards.
Vauhti's racing method
Vauhti's powder method includes both light scraping while the wax is warm and thorough finishing after cooling.
- Clean the glide surface with Clean & Glide and brush it before waxing.
- Distribute the powder evenly over the entire glide surface.
- Iron in the powder with a waxing iron so that it melts completely. Follow the product's current instructions for iron temperature and working speed.
- Scrape lightly while the wax is still warm.
- Let the ski cool completely and scrape again.
- Brush thoroughly with a brass brush, then a horsehair brush and finally a nylon brush.
