Vauhti Race Blue Liquid Glide Wax 60 ml -5 / -15

Vauhti Race Blue liquid 60 ml is a fluorocarbon-free liquid glide wax for dry man-made snow and cold falling snow. It is applied without a waxing iron and brushed thoroughly after it has dried completely.

Blue performs best on dry man-made snow. Vauhti also recommends it for falling snow when the temperature is -5 °C or lower, within the product's stated range.

The Race liquids are manufactured by first homogenizing solid raw materials and then processing them with organic solvents. The series combines hydrocarbons, zinc stearate, and silicone wax.

Suitable for

• Dry man-made snow or falling snow from -5 °C and colder.
• Race waxing and demanding training without heat application to the glide layer.
• Cross-country skis, alpine skis, and snowboards.

Vauhti's racing method

In its racing base prep, Vauhti recommends a thick layer and three brushing steps for the Race liquids.

1. Clean the glide surface with Clean & Glide and brush it before waxing.
2. Shake the bottle. Press the applicator sponge lightly against the base so that the valve opens.
3. Apply back and forth over the entire glide surface and lay down a thick layer.
4. Allow the wax to dry completely.
5. Brush thoroughly with a brass brush, then a horsehair brush, and finally a nylon brush.
