Vauhti Pure Race New Snow Violet Grip Wax 45 g -2 / -7

Vauhti Pure Race New Snow Violet 45 g is a grip wax for classic cross-country skiing in fine-grained snow in glazed tracks.

Violet is a choice for new snow and fine-grained snow when the track surface has become glazed. Vauhti’s racing recommendation uses it both as the main wax and on top of other hardwaxes.

Suitable for

• Glazed tracks with fine-grained snow.
• New snow from -2 to -7 °C.
• Waxable classic cross-country skis.

How to use the product

1. Clean the grip zone and roughen it lightly when building a new wax job.
2. Choose a base wax according to snow type and how abrasive the track is. Let the base cure before applying the grip wax.
3. Apply the grip wax in thin layers and smooth between layers with a synthetic cork. Adjust the number of layers according to the ski and conditions.
4. Test ski and adjust with thin layers if needed.

For new snow, GS Base AT and Race LDR are included in one of Vauhti’s combinations with Violet. The number of layers needs to be adjusted to camber, conditions and other waxes.
