Swix Ceramic Stone is a fine stone for honing and final finishing of steel edges after using a file and diamond stone.
The last step, not the first: The ceramic stone is intended to refine an edge that is already straight and polished. It is not the tool for changing edge angle or repairing deep damage.
How to use the product
- First complete the work with a file and diamond stones.
- Mount the ceramic stone in the correct file guide.
- Make a few very light passes along the edge.
- Clean metal residue from the stone after use.
