Start Tar Grip Wax Green -7 / -12 is a tar-based kick wax for cold and dry fresh snow.
The coldest tin in the tar series here: Green should be applied thinly outdoors. It hardens quickly in the cold and provides better glide than a warmer tar wax that picks up snow.
How to use the product
- Clean and lightly roughen the kick zone when the base needs a new binder layer.
- If needed, apply a thin layer of base wax and cork it in carefully.
- Apply several thin layers of grip wax instead of one thick layer.
- Cork each layer evenly along the kick zone before applying the next layer.
- Test ski and fine-tune with a thinner layer or a nearby temperature range.
