Skigo Base Wax X-Strong is a 45 g extra-durable base wax for man-made snow, transformed snow, and other abrasive conditions.
When the track tends to wear away the entire grip wax layer: X-Strong provides significantly stronger mechanical adhesion than a regular base wax. It is most valuable on long sessions and in hard, aggressive tracks.
How to use the product
- Lightly roughen the kick zone lengthwise along the ski and wipe away the sanding dust.
- Preferably cool the tin so that a very thin layer is easier to apply.
- Carefully heat in the base wax with a clean waxing iron.
- Cork the surface completely smooth.
- Let the base cool before applying the day’s grip wax.
