Rex Purple Special is a kick wax for temperatures just below freezing. Despite the purple color, it is therefore intended for sub-zero conditions. Rex describes it as a reliable choice for the recreational skier, and it has a clear place in the wax box when the cold is mild and the temperature is close to the freezing point.
