Klister wax
Klister provides grip when the track is coarse, transformed, wet or icy and hard wax is not enough. Here you’ll find klister for different temperatures and snow types, as well as base klister for better durability.
When should you use klister?
Klister is often the right choice in old, coarse-grained snow, in above-freezing temperatures, in icy tracks, or when the snow has gone through several freeze-thaw cycles.
Apply thinly and evenly
- Clean the grip zone and, if needed, use a thin layer of base klister.
- Apply small amounts in a zigzag pattern and smooth it out carefully.
- Let the skis cool before taking them out into the snow.
- It is better to start with too little and add more than to apply a thick layer right away.
Combine in difficult conditions
Around the freezing point, klister can be covered with hard wax to reduce icing and create a drier surface. Follow the instructions for the selected product and adapt according to how the track changes during the day.
