TS6B is the second hardest wax in the TS series and is an excellent choice under typical winter conditions, both for cross-country skiing and alpine skiing. It is a favorite among service staff thanks to superior wear resistance and fantastic glide on dirty snow. This is achieved through new additives that also reduce friction on very cold snow. Despite being a wax for cold conditions, its melting point makes it easier to apply than many similar waxes in this range, without compromising glide properties. The application with a waxing iron on a skate or alpine ski should take approximately 8-10 s. The wax can be reheated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better wear resistance. Cork after about one minute. It is important to have a good waxing iron for the wax to melt effectively. TS6B can be used as a racing wax on its own or as a base wax for other racing products. Recommended temperature on the waxing iron: 155 °C.
