Swix Pro HS7 Violet -2 / -8 60g

Swix Pro HS7 Violet -2 / -8 60g is a hard glide wax in the Swix High Speed series for ambitious training and racing in the temperature range -2 / -8 °C.

Normal winter without hassle: HS7 is the wax we often start with when the forecast calls for a typical Swedish winter. It sits in the middle of the system, is easy to work with, and performs well across more days than the name suggests. The 60-gram block is a convenient format for your own wax box and lasts a long time for most recreational skiers.

• Typical winter conditions below freezing.
• Fresh snow, old snow, and varying humidity.
• Cross-country skis, alpine skis, and snowboards.

How to use the wax

1. Set the waxing iron to 150 °C.
2. Melt in the wax evenly. One continuous pass over a skate or alpine ski should take about 8-10 seconds.
3. Let the ski cool to room temperature.
4. For better durability, the wax can be reheated after about 10 minutes of cooling.
5. Scrape with a sharp plexi scraper and brush out the base structure thoroughly.
