Swix Ski File 10 cm Bastard Coarse is a hard-chrome 100 mm file for setting the side edge angle and repairing damaged steel edges.
The first file, not for everyday maintenance: The bastard file is used when a lot of steel needs to be removed. Once the angle has been set, you should switch to a medium file and then a diamond stone.
How to use the product
- Mount the file in a compatible file holder.
- Work with short, overlapping strokes from tip to tail.
- Use only as much pressure as needed for the file to cut.
- Clean the file with a file brush and continue with a finer file or diamond stone.
