Shred Hard-Ear Chin Guard is a steel chin guard for SHRED's hard-ear race helmets for slalom.
A hard-ear helmet requires the correct mounting: Hard-Ear and Soft-Ear use different attachment systems. Choose based on the helmet model - not just because the guard looks the same.
How to use the product
- Check that the helmet is listed in the compatibility list.
- Install the guard using the helmet’s designated screws and mounts.
- Make sure the guard is centered and securely fitted.
- Retighten and inspect the attachment after hard gate impacts.
