Swix Base Repair Material Transparent consists of four transparent P-tex sticks for minor repairs to light-colored or transparent ski bases.
Choose color according to the base: Transparent P-tex makes the repair less visible on light-colored bases, but the working procedure is the same as with black material.
How to use the product
- Clean and cut away any loose material in the damaged area.
- Light or heat the P-tex stick and fill the damage in a controlled manner.
- Allow the material to cool completely.
- Level with a steel scraper or Panzer file.
- Polish with Fibertex and apply base prep wax to the ski base.
