Skigo Plastic Scraper 3 mm is a thin and flexible acrylic scraper for removing hard glide wax from cross-country skis, alpine skis, and snowboards.
The compliant scraper for tip and tail: Three millimeters makes the scraper easier to bend to follow the shape of the ski. It should still be held flat - too much flex gives uneven pressure and poorer control.
How to use the product
- Let the ironed-in glide wax cool completely.
- Clear the groove and edges before scraping the main glide surface.
- Hold the scraper with both hands and work from tip to tail.
- Scrape in thin, controlled strokes until only wax in the structure remains.
- Sharpen the scraper when the edge starts to feel rounded.
