Sidecut Sidewall Kit

The Sidecut Sidewall Kit converts a compatible Sidecut file guide into a sidewall tool with the selected carbide cutter.

A compact kit for those who already have the file guide: The kit saves space when traveling and allows the same guide body to be used for both edge angle work and removal of sidewall material.

How to use the product

1. Mount the aluminum block and axle on a compatible Sidecut file guide.
2. Install the selected carbide cutter and start with a shallow cutting depth.
3. Let the guide follow the base and work from tip to tail.
4. Check frequently that the plastic is being removed without damaging the steel edge or base.
5. Disassemble and clean the parts after use.
