Choose the right cleaner
Glide wax cleaner is developed for glide surfaces and is used together with Fiberlene and often a dedicated brush. Stronger wax remover is used in the grip zone to dissolve hard wax and klister. Skin strips should be cleaned with special skin products.
Clean only as much as necessary
- Start with dry brushing and wiping.
- Use the right cleaner when dirt and wax residue remain.
- Let the surface dry completely before applying new wax.
- Saturate a dried-out base with new glide wax after a deeper cleaning.
Keep the tools separate
Preferably use different cloths and brushes for glide surfaces, grip wax and fluorine cleaning. This reduces the risk of dirt or residue being transferred between work steps.
