Rotary brushes
Roto brushes are mounted on a shaft and driven by a drill for fast, even brushing. They are particularly well suited for clubs, race wax technicians, and anyone preparing many pairs of skis.
Same work step - higher speed
Roto brushes are available in steel, bronze, horsehair, nylon, fleece, and wool. The material has essentially the same role as in a hand brush, but the rotation makes the work faster and more repeatable.
Choose width and shaft
70 mm is often used for cross-country skis, while 100 mm is practical for alpine skis and snowboards. A longer shaft can provide space for several shorter brushes.
Work safely
- Use a protective cover and safety glasses.
- Follow the manufacturer's recommended RPM for the specific brush and work step.
- Let the rotation throw wax dust toward the tail of the ski.
- Apply light pressure and keep the brush moving.
