Some prefer thinner 3 mm scrapers because they bend and make it easier to remove wax, especially from the tips and ends. Others prefer thicker 5 mm scrapers because they don't bend. It's a personal preference, here you have the golden middle ground with 4 mm thickness - not too soft - not too stiff!

THE SCRAPER HAS 4 UNIQUE CORNERS:
- a rounded corner excellent for steering grooves
- a rounded corner perfect for sidewalls
- an end for edges
- a 90-degree corner
which gives you significantly more versatility when removing wax from hard-to-reach places.
The scraper is also larger than most scrapers, it is 150 x 60 mm which gives it a bit of extra width making it excellent even for alpine skis. Additionally, we have placed the two rounded corners on the same long side which makes the scraper sit comfortably in the hands because no sharp edges cut in.
