Grooving & Structure

Structure tools are used for easier structuring of the base on cross-country skis. Especially in humid and warm conditions, a structure should be applied to reduce the suction from the water film that forms between the track surface and the ski base. The structure in the base then creates the possibility to mix air into the water film, which provides better glide. In certain conditions, the right structure can give a better effect than the ski wax itself.
