The marathon powder is a powder version of the well-known glide wax Marathon DHBFF. It is much easier to apply the powder than hard marathon wax, as the powder melts more easily and is easier to cork. The product's wear resistance is the same. The powder's particle size has undergone thorough testing to ensure the product achieves the best possible application results and performance. DHP Black is specially developed for wet tracks and dirty snow. The black additive helps reduce friction and reduces the amount of debris that sticks to the base. In addition to the powder being excellent in wet tracks, it is also very competitive in colder weather.
Apply a moderate layer of powder to the base and then run the waxing iron twice to ensure that all the powder melts. The waxing iron's temperature should be 160 degrees and the waxing iron's speed should be approximately 5-7 seconds over the entire length of the ski. Cork after cooling the product with a plexiglass cork and then brush with a steel or bronze brush and finally polish with a blue nylon brush.
