Start RG Race Glider Base

Base wax / primer specifically designed to achieve the best results with the new fluorine-free glide waxes. This ensures that the wax stays on longer and provides better wear resistance.

This primer works by adhering incredibly well to the ski base, and in turn, it leaves a surface that the other waxes adhere well to.

These waxes have been thoroughly tested in Torsby Ski Tunnel by various national teams during the summer, and the results are surprisingly good. We strongly believe that these waxes will become among the best to replace fluorine waxes with during the 2020/21 season.

Start's brand new RG Racing Glider series is the next generation of fluorine-free techno-ceramic glide wax.
Advanced mixtures of many ceramic compounds affect the glide surface's nanostructure to reduce both wet and dry friction with new levels in durability.
Additionally, additives of graphites improve performance in new snow, while additives of molybdenum enhance performance in old transformed and artificial snow.

The wax is available in two different series, where both series come in both solid and liquid form.

Start RG Race solid & liquid is the series that replaces low and medium fluorine waxes.

Start RG Ultra solid & liquid is the series that replaces and often even surpasses the properties of high fluorine waxes. RG Ultra is also available in a finisher/topping series.
