Swix VP65 Racing Pro Black/Red +2 / -0 is a black/red race-oriented kick wax in the Swix VP series. It is used in the kick zone on waxable classic cross-country skis.
One of the problem-solvers in the VP series: The black additive reduces the risk of icing, and the wax can also be used to cover klister. This makes VP65 considerably more interesting than the temperature range alone suggests.
Suitable for
- New and fine-grained snow from 0 to +2 °C.
- Old or transformed snow from 0 to -4 °C.
- Demanding zero-degree conditions and high humidity.
How to use the kick wax
- Lightly roughen the kick zone with fine sandpaper if needed.
- Apply a thin layer of base wax when you need extra durability.
- Apply the kick wax in several thin layers in the kick zone.
- Cork each layer evenly before applying the next layer.
- Test ski and add a thin layer if the grip needs to be improved.
