Swix Marathon Powder 40g is a hard and durable glide powder for ski marathons and longer race distances.
Larger format for long-distance race prep: This 40-gram format is ideal for those preparing multiple pairs or who want more margin ahead of the season’s long-distance races. White is still the choice when the snow is fresh and relatively clean.
Suitable for
- Fresh and clean snow.
- Ski marathons and longer race distances.
- Can be used as a race wax or as a durable base under a topping.
How to use the product
- Distribute an even layer of powder over the glide surface.
- Iron in with a waxing iron at 160 °C. One pass over the ski should take approximately 5–7 seconds.
- Allow the ski to cool thoroughly.
- Scrape the grooves, edges, and glide surface with a sharp plexi scraper.
- Brush with a steel or bronze brush and finish with a blue or fine nylon brush.
