All orders placed on weekdays without holidays before the shipping companies pick up our packages, which is normally around 3 PM, are usually sent from us the same day. Orders placed in the evenings/weekends/holidays are usually sent the following business day.
We deliver to all addresses within the Nordics - Sweden, Norway, Finland & Denmark. We also deliver to several other European countries.
We send our goods with PostNord or Instabox, and it usually takes 1-2 business days to reach you after it has been dispatched from our warehouse. Once the item has left our warehouse, it is always possible to track the package via the shipping companies' tracking systems. Skidvalla.se cannot provide any delay guarantee for goods that have left our warehouse, as the package is then in the hands of the shipping company. This means that the total delivery time before the item reaches you may be longer than what is stated as normal for the selected shipping method.
To certain parts of Norrland and Gotland, the shipping companies deliver with a one-day delay. This concerns, for example, certain locations with postal codes starting with 82-84, 86-89, and 91-98.
Skidvalla.se's customers always have the right to cancel the purchase in case of delivery delays. There may be occasions that make it impossible for us to fulfill the order, for example, if our supplier cannot fulfill their commitment to us. Contact our customer service if you wish to cancel your purchase.
Shipping Methods
Instabox - Pick up in parcel box (Instabox Express)
Usually takes 1 business day to arrive after it has been dispatched from our warehouse, for some areas the delivery takes 2 days. Shipping cost 0 SEK - over 499 SEK, otherwise 49 SEK. Your goods are sent with Instabox to a parcel box. When the package has arrived at the parcel box, you will receive a notification via email or SMS. The largest package size is 60x40x40 cm, which means we cannot send skis, poles, or waxing tables with this shipping method.
PostNord - Pick up at agent or in parcel box (MyPack Collect)
Usually takes 1 business day to arrive after it has been dispatched from our warehouse, for some areas the delivery takes 2 days.Shipping cost 59 SEK. Your goods are sent with PostNord to a postal agent or to a parcel box. Follow your delivery via the PostNord App. You are notified when the package can be picked up.
The maximum length for these packages is 150 cm, which means we cannot send longer skis or poles with this shipping method.
PostNord - Small items to your mailbox (Varubrev 1st class)
Usually takes 1 business day to arrive after it has been dispatched from our warehouse, for some areas the delivery takes 2 days. Shipping cost 0 SEK - over 499 SEK, otherwise 49 SEK. Fast, convenient, and traceable to your mailbox or at your door. Follow your delivery via the PostNord App. If the package does not fit in your mailbox, it is delivered at your door or in a bag outside your mailbox. We ask you to consider your ordered goods before choosing this shipping method; it is not suitable for, for example, an iron, which is too large.
PostNord - Home delivery(MyPack Home)
It normally takes 1 business day to reach after it has been sent from our warehouse, to certain areas the delivery takes 2 days. The package is delivered to your home during the day or evening (You can update your delivery choice via the PostNord App). Nowadays, PostNord also offers Saturday delivery to 2 million households in Sweden. Shipping cost 0 SEK - over 1999 SEK, otherwise 199 SEK. You will be notified in the PostNord App and via SMS/email with a suggestion for
delivery date and time. There is always the possibility to customize your delivery.
You can, for example, choose another date/time, personal delivery at the door, or to
pick up your package at one of PostNord's service points. For home delivery, you can track your package in real-time using a map. In principle, all our items can be sent with this shipping method.
Instabox - Home Delivery (Instabox Home)
It normally takes 1-2 business days to reach after it has been sent from our warehouse. Shipping cost 0 SEK - over 1999 SEK, otherwise 79 SEK. Instabox offers the ability to track your package. Home delivery between 17-22. Combined deliveries of electric cars, fossil-free trucks, and bicycles/cargobikes. Climate-compensated delivery. The maximum length for these packages is 120 cm, which means we cannot send longer skis or poles with this shipping method.
Track your package
When your order is shipped from our warehouse, you will receive a delivery confirmation to your email address. In the delivery confirmation, there is a tracking link that you can click to track your shipment.
Shipment ID for packages
A package always receives a parcel ID (alt. tracking number) that can be used for tracking the package. You can find the parcel ID via the tracking link in the delivery confirmation sent to your email address as soon as the package has left our warehouse. With the parcel ID, you can track your package from when it is sorted by the shipping company until you pick up your package.
If you have not received any notification but see via the tracking link that the package has arrived at the agent, you can pick up packages sent with PostNord using the parcel ID and identification. You can find the parcel ID/tracking number/sequence number in the delivery confirmation sent to your email address.
Shipment ID for mail items
With the shipment ID for mail items, you can see when the mail item passes through postal terminals and possibly ends up at the Post's delivery point. However, this tracking is not as detailed as for packages. You can find the shipment ID for mail items in the delivery confirmation sent to your email address as soon as the package has left our warehouse. When a mail item is sorted at the postal terminal, a delivery notification is sent to you either via SMS, email, or letter, informing you that your delivery is on its way and when it is expected to be delivered to you. If the mail carrier considers that the mail item fits in the mailbox, it is delivered directly to the recipient's mailbox. Mail items considered too bulky are left either at the door or at the nearest delivery point, and a notification with a four-digit sequence number is sent either via SMS, email, or letter. With the sequence number, you can pick up your mail item at the Post's delivery point. If you have not received the notification, you can also pick up the mail item using the shipment ID that you find in the delivery confirmation.
At the agent
To collect your shipment, you need your ID and the number you find in the SMS or email notification.
If for some reason you are missing the notification, it is fine to collect the package with the parcel ID/tracking number/serial number and ID. You can find the parcel ID/tracking number/serial number in the delivery confirmation sent to your email address.
Remember that you must always be able to show ID when collecting a package. Only the person named on the package may collect it at the agent.
The shipment is held at the postal agent for 7 days (PostNord) before it is returned to us. We reserve the right to charge the costs incurred for handling uncollected packages (return shipping, handling fee, etc.). Therefore, we charge a fee of 150 SEK if a package is not collected. Please note that if you change your mind about a purchase and want to return the item, you should first collect the package and then return it according to the instructions on our website.
Delivery Delay
Delivery times may be extended as unforeseen delays may occur along the way.
We have almost all the products we sell in stock. Some products may instead be in the supplier's stock, from where we immediately order and forward it to you, this is clearly indicated on the product in such cases. If any product is also out of stock at the supplier, delivery delays will occur and we will contact you via email or phone. We are happy to help you with suggestions for an equivalent product if available.
