PS6 is a very versatile glide wax. Its areas of use range from base wax for competition products to competition wax itself, and as a base wax for cold skis. PS6 has good durability and provides good glide on both natural and artificial snow. The application with a waxing iron on a skate or alpine ski should take about 8-10 seconds. The wax can be reheated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better durability. It is important to have a good waxing iron to effectively melt the wax. PS6 can be used separately as a competition wax or as a base wax before the final wax layer. Recommended temperature for the waxing iron: 145 °C.
