The structuring tool is intended for easier structuring of the base. In humid and warm conditions, a structure should be applied to reduce the suction from the water film that exists between the track surface and the ski base. The structure in the base allows for mixing air into the water film, which provides much better glide.
The structuring tool is made of anodized aluminum. The rollers are made of stainless steel. The tool works by having two rollers spin in the direction of travel and pressing the structure into the base. Delivered with four rollers that are combined two at a time. Often used for skate skis.
