Rotating brushes

What do the different brushes do?

• Brass, bronze, or steel brushes remove oxidized coating and material that has clogged the pores in the coating so that the coating can receive new grip wax and glide wax.
• Soft bronze brushes, nylon, or horsehair remove excess wax after scraping and smooth the coating to maximize glide.
• Cork brushes are used to spread wax thinly and evenly, and through the frictional heat that arises, it is done very well.
