Glide Wax
Glide the skis and experience a much better glide. It simply becomes more fun and easier to ski.
On classic cross-country skis, the sliding zones are herded, i.e. in front of and behind the herding zone with fixed fence. On skate skis and alpine skis, the entire surface is grazed.
Many people are careless with the sliding wall, but really it is not very difficult. What many people do wrong is that they neglect to sickle and brush off the ridge, if you don't do this, the positive gliding effect is not achieved. Remember that cross-country skis without beveling should also be glide-bevelled, they can only do without fixed bevelling.
A modern ski surface has lots of small pores (the more expensive skis = the better surface = more pores). The paraffin must be heated into the coating to enter the pores. Afterwards, the excess (everything that is on top of the coating) is sickled and brushed away. The paraffin is therefore inside the coating, not on top of it.
A heating iron is needed to heat up the pad. A cast iron with a good thermostat and even temperature is a good investment.
