Some prefer thinner 3mm scrapers because they bend and make it easier to remove wax, especially from the tips and ends. It is a personal preference, but be careful when using thinner scrapers so that you do not overbend them during scraping, which in turn can remove base material and make the base concave.

THE SCRAPER HAS 4 UNIQUE CORNERS:
- a rounded corner excellent for guiding tracks
- a rounded corner perfect for sidewalls
- an end for edges
- a 90-degree corner
which gives you significantly more versatility when removing wax from hard-to-reach places.
The scraper is also larger than most scrapers, it is 150 x 60 mm which means it has a little extra width that makes it excellent even for alpine skis. Additionally, we have placed the two rounded corners on the same long side which makes the scraper sit comfortably in the hands since no sharp edges cut in.
