The Tjärvallor are specially adapted for new snow conditions as they adjust to the temperature, which gives them a wide range of uses and counteracts the risk of underfreezing. The wax consistency is relatively soft and requires a base wax when used, usually Start regular Base Wax. The Tjärvallor become harder in the cold and should always be applied outdoors so that they can be applied in thin, even layers. This improves the result and makes them easy to use.
Start by roughening the ski base. Sandpaper with a grit of 100 is recommended. Also, remember that grip wax must be corked out with a synthetic cork.
