The wax consistency is relatively soft and requires a base wax when used, usually Start regular Base Wax. The tar waxes become harder in cold weather and should always be applied outdoors so that they can be applied in thin, even layers. This improves the result and makes them easy to use.
Start by roughening the ski base. Sandpaper in grit 100 is recommended. Also remember that grip wax must be corked out with a synthetic cork.
