Vola Mini Blade Diamond 1000 is the choice for an extra-fine final finish on steel edges. The 1000-grit diamond discs refine the very tip of the cutting edge, remove small burrs and help produce a clean, sharp edge for your next run.
This model is especially well suited to speed disciplines and anyone who places great value on the final treatment after sharpening. Its finer grit distinguishes it from Diamond 600. You get the same compact size and automatic adjustment to the edge angle, with a focus on an extra-fine finish.
Follows the ski's existing edge angle
The grinding discs' movable mounts let them automatically adapt to the ski's existing edge angle. You therefore do not need to set an angle on the tool. It works on the cutting edge itself, making Mini Blade a practical step after both manual and machine sharpening.
How to use Mini Blade
- Secure the ski on its side and place the tool lightly against the steel edge.
- Pull the tool evenly towards you along the edge. Use very light pressure so the discs can follow the angle themselves.
- Check the result and repeat with light strokes where needed.
- Wipe the edge and tool clean after use.
