Product description
Vauhti’s nylon brush with natural cork combines two glide-waxing steps: work in the dried wax with the cork, then finish brushing with the same tool. The large cork surface is particularly useful for liquid glide wax, as working it with natural cork can improve the wax’s durability. The nylon brush then removes loose wax residue and polishes the glide surface.
Using it with liquid glide wax
- Apply the glide wax to a clean, dry glide surface. Let it dry completely as directed on the product.
- Rub the dried wax with the natural cork, using even movements across the glide surface.
- Brush with the nylon side from tip to tail until the loose wax residue is removed and the base structure is clear.
If the wax instructions call for steel or bronze brushing, do that before the final nylon brushing.
The nylon brush also works after solid glide wax
After waxing with an iron, use the nylon side for final brushing once the wax has cooled, the excess has been scraped off and the coarser brushing is complete.
Keep both the cork and brush free of grip wax and klister so that residue is not transferred to the glide zones.
