Product description
Expose the steel edge before filing: If the file hits the plastic first, the edge angle becomes uneven and the file wears unnecessarily. A sidewall cutter does the preparatory work before you sharpen the steel edge.
How to use it
- Secure the ski on its side.
- Adjust the blade so that it removes only sidewall material.
- Work from tip to tail, taking thin, even shavings.
- Check frequently that you are not cutting into the base or steel edge.
- File and polish the steel edge only once it is exposed.
