Product description
Vauhti Nylon Brush Small is a compact brush for finishing the glide-waxing process on cross-country skis. The nylon bristles remove loose wax residue and polish the glide surface for your next outing. The small brush is easy to pack in your wax bag and is well suited to straightforward waxing at home or on a ski trip.
After liquid glide wax
Let the wax dry completely as directed on the product. Then brush the glide zones from tip to tail with even strokes until the loose residue is gone. For waxes that require metal brushing, carry out that step first and finish with nylon.
After solid glide wax
Once the wax has cooled and the excess has been scraped off, start with a steel brush or bronze brush to clear the structure. Then use the nylon brush for final brushing and polishing.
On classic cross-country skis, work on the glide zones in front of and behind the grip zone or skin.
