Vola Touring is a glide wax for backcountry touring where snow conditions can vary during the same day. The series is adapted for glide zones used together with climbing skins and is available in solid and liquid form.

Developed for backcountry touring

The Touring series takes into account the interaction between the ski base and climbing skins. The formula is chosen so that the skin adheres to the base while transfer of skin glue is limited.

Solid wax or liquid alternative

Choose the format based on your preparation method and follow the instructions for application and finishing. Work carefully on the glide zones before the climbing skins are put on.

Treatment of climbing skins

Follow both the wax and the skin manufacturer's recommendations if you want to treat the skin against snow sticking to it. In the series overview, Touring is shown as an option at level 1 with a specific area of use.
