Texture tools are for easier structuring of the coating. In humid and warm conditions, a structure must be laid to reduce the suction from the water film that exists between the track surface and the ski surface. The structure of the coating creates the opportunity to mix air in the water film and this gives better gliding.
The structural tool is made of anodized aluminum. The rollers are made of stainless steel. The tool is based on two rollers spinning in the direction of travel and the structure being pressed into the coating. Comes with four rollers that are combined two and two at a time.
