• A 92º Diamond Guide gives you an 88º or 2º edge angle. Some companies use the designation 88º or 2º degrees. They are all equal.

• For best results, consider having at least two Diamond Discs: one with 120 or 200 grit for damage removal and grinding, and another with your choice of 400, 600 or 1000 grit for polishing. If you are using this as a stand-alone edge grinder and only choose one disc, we recommend the 400-grit disc.

• The advantage of Diamond Discs compared to traditional rectangular stones is their durability. You can easily spin the disc and use every part of the diamond surface. This is not possible with a rectangular stone, which wears linearly and does not reach all areas of the file holder.
