A special competition stone that is excellent for hard-wearing surfaces that normally dull steel edges very quickly. For example, tracks that contain dirty snow with sand and gravel. This stone leaves a steel edge that can be described as having micro teeth that grip very well and for a long time.
After several years of experimenting with service personnel, competitive skiers, and regular alpine skiers from world elite to club level, Comax has developed seven different types of grinding stones for its famous edge sharpener. These stones are divided into three groups - Synthetic, Ceramic, and Diamond grinding stones, which cover all sharpening needs in the alpine world. All these different stones can be purchased as accessories from us.
