PS6 is a very versatile glide wax. The areas of use range from base wax for competition products to competition wax itself, and as base wax for cold skis. PS6 has good abrasion resistance and provides good glide on both natural and artificial snow. The application with the waxing iron on a skate or alpine ski should take approximately 8-10 s. The wax can be reheated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better abrasion resistance. It is important to have a good waxing iron for the wax to melt effectively. PS6 can be used separately as competition wax or as base wax before the final wax layers. Recommended temperature of the waxing iron: 145 °C.
