Base Wax

For a better grip on cross-country skis, you lay down the foundation wall very thinly and preferably heat it with a wall iron to get it just right and thin. This is used so that other can glue or glue will stay better on the ski. So, the foundation wall adheres better to the ski, then the other wall adheres better to this foundation wall than it would to the ski. Simply put, better durability for the attachment wall!
