Product description
Swix PC100 Powder Coarse and Wet Snow +10 / -2 20g is a World Cup powder for race-oriented glide waxing of cross-country skis and alpine skis.
Wet conditions on coarse snow: PC100 is the product for warm, coarse and water-rich snow. It should not be confused with PF100: both are wet-condition products, but PC100 is designed for rounded and transformed snow crystals.
Suitable for
- Wet, coarse-grained, old or transformed snow.
- High humidity, approximately 30-100%.
- Temperature range: +10 / -2 °C.
How to use the product
- Distribute an even layer of powder over the glide surface. Use enough product to reduce the risk of overheating the ski base.
- You may lightly tamp the powder with the waxing iron so that it stays in place when you begin heating it in.
- Iron in with a waxing iron at 160 °C. One pass over a skate ski should take approximately 8-10 seconds unless otherwise stated on the packaging.
- Allow the ski to cool to room temperature for at least 10 minutes.
- First scrape out the groove and then the rest of the glide surface with a sharp plexi scraper.
- Brush with a steel or bronze brush and finish with a fine nylon brush.
