Swix TSP6 Powder -6 / -12 40g is a hard racing powder in the Swix Top Speed Powder series for cross-country skis and alpine skis.
The cold-condition powder for natural and man-made snow: TSP6 is one of our most versatile cold powder glide waxes when the snow can be both natural and man-made. It is a good choice when you want to build a durable racing base.
Suitable for
- Cold natural or man-made snow.
- Cross-country skis and alpine skis.
- The temperature range in the store title is fixed: -6 / -12 °C.
How to use the product
- Distribute an even layer of powder over the ski base. Use enough product to reduce the risk of overheating the base material.
- You may lightly tap in the powder with the waxing iron so that it stays in place when you begin ironing it in.
- Iron in with a waxing iron at 180-200 °C. One pass over a skate ski should take about 8-10 seconds unless otherwise stated on the packaging.
- Allow the ski to cool to room temperature for at least 10 minutes.
- First scrape out the groove and then the rest of the ski base with a sharp plexi scraper.
- Brush with a steel or bronze brush and finish with a fine nylon brush.
