Start RG Race Base is the base wax beneath the day’s glide layer. Choose solid or liquid form depending on how you want to build the waxing and which products you use on top.
Solid Base for hot waxing
The solid base wax is ironed in with a waxing iron and finished according to the instructions on the package before you continue with the day’s glide wax.
Liquid Base for the RG system
RG Race Liquid Glider Base is used under liquid RG Race and RG Ultra. Read the product instructions for drying, corking or felt application, and final brushing. It also describes Start’s method with Fiberlene for those who want to continue working with ironing in.
Choose the glide layer for the conditions
Continue with a suitable product from RG Race or RG Ultra, depending on ambition level, snow conditions and waxing method.
