Swix VP series

The Swix VP series consists of grip waxes for skiers who want to fine-tune grip, durability, and feel in varying conditions. The series is particularly interesting for ambitious training and racing.

Temperature is only part of the picture

Choose VP wax based on snow temperature, air temperature, snow type, and humidity. Two conditions with the same temperature may require different solutions.

Build grip methodically

• Use a thin and even base layer when the distance is long.
• Apply several thin layers and cork carefully.
• Adjust the length of the kick zone to match the ski’s camber.
• Test the skis and change one layer at a time.

Combine when needed

VP can be used in layers or together with another hard wax to adjust durability, grip, and the risk of icing.
