Irons
Milking iron, with temperature indication, is a must for serious milking. Do not use an old iron, but an iron that is intended for ski curling. Preferably one with a thick plate, around one centimeter. They keep the temperature even and stable throughout the paraffining. You use the whey iron for more things than melting paraffin wax. You can and should also melt the first layer of adhesive wax so that the following layers stick better. Just be very careful to clean the iron between the different types of walla. Ideally, you have one rolling iron for sliding rolling and another rolling iron for fixed rolling.
