High Speed (HS) is specially developed for younger competitive skiers and ambitious recreational skiers. All glide waxes in this series have high performance and good wear resistance. This makes them an affordable alternative for both competition and training. The hardness makes it easy to work with and it's easy to get a good end result. Swix HS7 is perfect for both training and competition.
How to apply HS7: The application with a waxing iron on a skate or alpine ski should take approximately 8-10 seconds. The wax can be reheated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better wear resistance. It is important to have a good waxing iron for the wax to melt effectively. HS7 can be used as a competition wax on its own or as a base wax for other competition products. Recommended temperature for the waxing iron: 150°C.
