Kick Wax
Burkwalla is used on days when there is fresh snow, or when there is older snow that has not melted and turned into coarse snow crystals.
Follow the temperature recommendation on the can and it usually works well. If you feel that snow is getting stuck under the ski, you have chosen a ridge that is too warm. If it is poorly attached, you have wove with too cold a wove or too few layers. Always apply several thin layers and cork properly. Keep in mind that a skid is made for 4 to 7 thin layers of wax and that each layer must be corked with synthetic cork.
A simple starter kit that we recommend to cope with all winter temperatures is a Green, Blue & Violet jar with fixed wax.
