100% Fluorine. These get their incredible wetting and sliding properties from the extremely negatively charged fluorine atoms that repel the negatively charged oxygen atoms in water and dirt.

Fluorine reduces the surface tension and the contact area with the water surface in the snow. The more water/moisture there is in the snow, the more Fluor-walls reduce friction and increase sliding.

Fluorine blocks need to be placed on top of a layer of wax of similar hardness to work best.
